Well we just got back from an amazing vacation with our 4 grandchildren and our youngest daughter. We had a ball —-but boy oh boy do I feel fat. I ate everything I wanted including elephant ears, fatty foods, deserts, and alcoholic beverages. I was supposed to start with Lance, my trainer, yesterday but I was pooped! So today I worked out with him and boy was I sore. We did a ton of squats and abdominal exercises. When I got on the scale this morning I was 169.9 pounds and 39.9% body fat. I have a long way to go because I need to get down to 10-15% body fat for the competition. I had a turkey subway sandwich today but I have to get to my meal preparation. I am not seeking perfection but rather progress!
